Honington was identified in counties Norfolk, Lincoln, Suffolk, Warwick (most appropriate location) Bentley was identified in counties Essex, Hampshire, Humberside, Suffolk, York, Warwick (most appropriate location). According to the 39 Historic Counties identified in World Book Encyclopedia, pub 1957, page 2338 county Warwick is immediately to the west of Northampton. The two cited towns, Honington and Bentley are in Warwick nowadays-just across the border from Northampton county. 

Bentley is ENE of Birmingham 2 miles SW of Atherstone; Honington is SSE of Birmingham 2 KM north of Shipston-on Stour.
